        I agree that this is a desirable feature. If it is implemented,
however, please let it be totally optional. I'm lucky to have no metered
local phone calls and a flat ISP fee. I don't want any avoidable overhead.
In fact I bought NC mainly because it is a complete system that my "plug &
play only" oriented wife can use. I normally avoid any MUI based
applications.

        Your proposed widget could also be useful for parental/grandparental
monitoring. (BTW, I'm 53.)
