Hey folks,
I just got an A4000, transferred my hdd, and my CD rom to it, and
Installed a CV64/3D card. Everything went fine until...
I loaded CyberGfx... At which time Genisis wouldn't get past the
configuring section of a login. Next, I tried Miami. Miami worked
fine. Then I booted from my other partition, which had not been
installed with a gfx-driver. This worked fine. Then I decided to load
P96 on that bootable partition. (Yes folks, I have two bootable
partitions. It's a good idea when you have to drive over 150Km to get
any kind of personal help, and it allows me to get on line with the
other partition in case of emergency) Guess what? Genisis, which had
been working, stopped. Miami continued to work.
I've had to stop using the 8N1.device when I installed OS3.5. So, for
a few months I was using the BuadBandit.device. I retried with the
serial.device, 8N1.device, and the Aser.device with no luck.
I think I'll blame OS3.5 for this one; no, the crappy serial port.
Anyway, is there any last best hope for me? Before, spending the money
for a Hypercom card. Whoops, lets also disclude registering
Miami(I paid for Genisis allready).
Thanks for helping ---Look I had a problem, and I didn't bash
Vapor/Active!!---
