This is probably a bit of a clumsy way to do it :) , but you could make
a small script for starting each of the Voyager versions.
Preparation:
First start the NC2 version and configure it to your needs, and save the
configuration. Then copy the file Envarc:prefs/mui/VOYAGER.prefs to
Netconnect2:programs/Voyager/VOYAGER_NC2.prefs
And similar for the NC3 version, start it and configure it to your
needs,
save the prefs and copy the file Envarc:prefs/VOYAGER.prefs
to Netconnect3:programs/Voyager/VOYAGER_NC3.prefs
Then make a script like this:
copy >NIL: Netconnect2:programs/Voyager/VOYAGER_NC2.prefs env:mui/VOYAGER.
prefs
Netconnect2:programs/Voyager/V
(I dont think its nessesary to copy the file to envarc:prefs/mui/
as well, since I beleive that this location is only used during starting
your Amiga)
Save the file as Netconnect2:Programs/Voyager/V-start
Find a project icon that you like and name it V-start.info and copy it
to the same location. Edit the default tool to IconX.
Make a similar file for NC3 (except for replacing the 2's with 3's :)
Now whenever you launch either the NC2 or NC3 version using the script,
it
should use the wanted prefs-file.
I'm not sure what happens if you start both NC2 and NC3 versions
at the same time, but I guess it will work, cause they probably only
read the
prefs file at startup anyway.
Only remember that if you change any of Voyagers config, you will
have to
copy the prefs-file again.
note, I havent tested (just took it out of my heaad), so it might need
some adjustment. But it should work.
