If you create the account with Genesis Wizard, one of the things it
asks you is whether the account is CHAP, PAP, or something else (SLIP
was it?). Most of the other details are then figured out
automatically when it dials up the provider. This is easily the best
way to set up a new interface. You can always modify it later in the
prefs window.
