Thanks for replying, Andrew.

I recall seeing somewhere (Vapor site/Eyetech ad?) that V3 supported
128 bit. 128 surely cannot be a recent introduction as PC browsers
seem to work OK.

Not hiding behind a 'd-e'! Just a straightforward, clearly expressed,
disappointment that the support offered in the Active advert for NC3
proved not to be there.

I realise that the boring debate about Active went on far too long. I
guess that like many not very technical shoppers I expected to get
something that worked straight from the box. I'm happy to acknowledge
a debt to those who freely gave, and still give me help, to get V3 to
work with the sites and facilities that I want to use - at least as
well as PCs that I have borrowed. But, I don't appreciate being
patronised.

The front page loads. Click on a link - the frame blanks. "Ready."
shows at the bottom left. Nothing further happens. Click the 'back'
button and the Amiga crashes - red 'guru'(?) 8000 0003 resets to WB. -
Beyond me as it eliminates snoopdos report.

Only site, so far as I have found, that crashes so completely. (As it
is an Microsoft site does it detect that I'm not running Windows???)

My A1200 has 68030 at 50Mhz, 2+16Mb, 2x4G HDs, 32xCD and G'lock with
an assortment of power supplies, running fairly clean while on net.

Help is appreciated. Ian.
