Andrew Bruno reckons he knows a bit about [netconnect] Searching in Contact Manager.
How?, so I thought I'd elaborate:

One (long) way would be to export them as HTML using the menus, then
open the HTML page and search in that. Not very helpful.
And now I've just remembered the easy way :)
Go to the Bookmarks menu and select "Search". Easy, innit?
