Mike, sometimes you amaze me (are you really a coder?) :)
You cheeky tyke!
The files are the plain amitcp and amitcp.020 kernels located,
correctly, within the bin/ drawer. Of course, the reason it has a
'.020' suffix is due to it, believe it or not, being compiled for
 020+ processors! Amazing 'uh <ducks> ;)
Duuurrr, erm shut it - I understand that - which is why I was asking!
Like somebody said in another follow up to this, other programs ship
with various CPU versions which either have to be renamed manually or
get done by the installer. I think it was a totally good question to
ask - hey you might have forgotten that in the installer script??!
And, yes, shock horror, Genesis is 'clever enough' to use it as,
again believe it or not, if you look at previous AmiTCP archives
they *didn't* have an 020 version....so we asked for it to be
 specially compiled, for Genesis.
Well that *is* unusal, intelligence. Good. And because they didn't
have an 020 version is why I asked if this was just a hidden 'extra'
that could be chosen by people poking about if they wanted to.
This might be a tacky/horrible answer, but, Mike, come on mate... :)
Yeah it is. But I don't care! :-P
Regardz,
M!ke C.
