Have you got image loading turned off? I find this happens a lot when I
have, and if you look at the bottom bit, V says "Loading images, 1 to go"
even when it shouldn't be loading any. If so, this is an ANCIENT bug,
it's been there since V1.something. I've reported it a couple of times a
long time ago, maybe I should do it again as a reminder.
On the subject of the transfer anim, is it supposed to look like it's
raining for most of it (I suspect not), or is it corrupted on mine (and
others?) systems?
