Yes I have seen it once or twice with Genesis and I have no idea what
causes it. In the past with term programs it has always been caused by
port speed problems, but I am using GVPio serial port now which is
capable of about ten times my modem's speed. If it is only occasional,
you might just ignore it. If it's a worry, lower your port rate. Any
Amiga with '030 or better should do 57600 easily, and some people
claim 115200.
