I was trying to download the Heretic II demo yesterday, but Voyager
wouldn't play ball. A couple of times, the connection failed, and I
clicked 'retry' and 'resume' to get it going again.
However, the resume function seems mostly illusory. While the archive
I ended up with was the right size. Closer inspection showed it to
contain the same files (from the 'beginning' of the archive) several
times. Which leads me to believe that rather than resuming from where
it left off, V3.2s resume function started from the beginning.
This is VERY annoying when you try to download a 41MB file!
I have given up on mFTP completely, since it creates a temporary
filename for its downloads, so that it cannot recognise the file for
resuming at all when I try, and it starts from the beginning with
a new temporary name....
I have the latest versions of all NC3 packages.
Is there anything I'm doing wrong?
