These menus are done with a bit of Javascript and unfortunately at the
moment V's Javascript doesn't seem to be up to it, it doesn't support
onSelect and/or form.submit.
Really, a well designed site ought to have a "Go" button which submits the
form to a redirection CGI script as well as the Javascript stuff, but as
you have seen many don't.
Perhaps someone should write to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and suggest it as a
high priority JS thing to be implemented in the next release?
