Unlikely, unless you are clicking on the actual mp3 file and have a
MIME type set up to play them.
I expect it's just coincidence that it occurs on mp3 sites - maybe
because they're badly written?

I strongly suggest you get Amster from Aminet. It lets you instantly
and easily search through hundreds of thousands of mp3s available for
download.
