Hi John...

On 18-Jun-00, John Winn spewed forth the following...

>Has any one else had trouble logging on to the Egroups web page?

>It asks for email adddress and password but doesn't accept it if I
>use Voyager. If I do it from my PS (spit) and Explorer I log on
>alright.

>Any ideas?

I think it all depends on where you try logging in from. If I log into
my account from the main page, everything's just fine. If I click on
the 'My eGroups' link first, and log in from there, it always fails.

I'm sure that before the eGroups/OneList merger, eGroups had the
decency to set a cookie for future visits to the site - this is
certainly no longer the case for me, as I have to log into the site
every time - it doesn't recognise me. It's definitely not a cookie
problem on my behalf either, as I use several other sites that depend
on cookies for user recognition.
