Hi all,
I am sure this has been covered before, but I can't find anything on it. When I
receive a file attached to an email,
Microdot handles it beautifully 95% of the time. However, outgoing mail is a different
story.
For example, there is a MIME type set up for rtf (rich text file) format files. If I
receive an email with an rtf file
attached, it works fine and displays the mime type of application/rtf. However, if I
attach an rtf file to an email I am
sending, the MIME type does not appear correctly in the MIME type column of the
attachments window. I no longer have the
option of text/rtf which appears in the MIME settings screen, I only have -
application/octet-stream
text/plain;charset=iso-8859-1
text/plain;charset=us-ascii
text/html;charset=iso-8859-1
image/x-ilbm
image/gif
image/jpeg
image/png
audio/x-8svx
How can I set up Microdot so that I can reliably send rtf files? Please will someone
help?
Thanks a lot

Colin Rodden
