I've just acquired a new HDD and am in the middle of reorganizing
things.
The old system is fully intact, the new one is almost there.
I've created a new Netconnect3: direectory and copied the old one
across. I then created a new dirctory for the MD-II message database
and pointed BOTH copies of MD-II at it. I copied the data across.
I booted into the new system, tied to get my mail and the first
message arrived, but it then stopped on the second one.
I booted into the old system and all messages arrived.
I'm now at the stage where I can only read messages using the version
of MD-II which downloaded them. Obviously I've corrupted something,
but I've no idea what.
Has anyone got any idea what I need to do to get my database back in
synch? If there is another file involved (an index maybe?) can I
put that onto the same partition as the database - but separate from
the netconnect3: partition?
Thanks...
