Now I know I'm not the only one to get this problem as a friend had it as well.
I am now subber to NTL as well as my wirenet account but am virtually unable to
use genesis with them. Miami works fine but I only have the demo (1 hour
limit) and dont fancy opaying such a silly amount for the program. (I *will*
if I have to, grudgingly).
Ok, onto the problem (which you may have heard about already). When Gen is
logging into NTL it causes Yellow screen flashes. This occurs when it is in
the final stages and connecting directly to the server. From then on in, any
program that is lauched will cause the yellow flashes (Yam and V and Stricq
for example) - pretty much whenever anything is done. It also slows the
system right down (in other words it eats the memory somehow) and thats ONLY
*IF* it doesnt crash the computer - which 95% the time it does.
Snoopdos doesnt report a thing - not even with all options ticked. And quite
frankly Im at a loss. Miami is ok with it - as is any other ISP I use with
Gen. So - it must be something to do with NTL and the way it talks to Gen or
some info they try to send. But what? and can you fix it PLEASE!
