At a guess:
If you're downloading mail which you already have, the copy won't be
stored so it will 'disappear'. This is only likely to happen if you
haven't told your mail client to delete mails on server. If you
haven't ticked this, you'll download the same messages over and over
again but it won't bother keeping the copy.
Why it would do this in one address and not others, I don't know -
unless you actually have a different account set up within Microdot
