Hi,
I am having a few more problems with Voyager and was wanting to ask for some
assistance from anyone in the know.
(just discovered I can't use the 'H' word even in the message body..
Sheesh!)
First off the system:
040/PPC
KS 3.1
WB 3.1
Magellan (with HTML filetype installed)
MUI (registered and I hope the latest - 3.8)
Voyager 3.3.79 (Registered)
100 Meg+ of memory
4 Gig+ of HD
CV card
(did I miss anything important?)
I will space the problems out only to not make a bit block of text to read.
Problems:
1) The menus frequently stop working, and the RMB pop up menus too.
2) Amiga "Key" doesn't work. (eg: Amiga N, Q, S, O, L and probably more)
3) The only way to quit is to close the program down.
4) The arrow keys don't scroll large HTML pages. (They do on IB and used
to on Voyager)
5) The keys to move through the pages (forward and backward), stop loading,
reload, and the like, don't work.
6) Double clicking on .HTML (.HTM) files works only ONCE. Once a file is
loaded and I double click on another one, a window is opened, but the file
is not loaded.

8) As more and more document file are becoming HTML I have set up .HTM
.HTML file types in Magellan. (or sorry, used the ones that are available
- what ever) Given: Voyager is not running and I double click on a HTML
file, Voyager loads and opens that file. All is good. However, if I then
double click another file, a second window opens in Voyager, but the file
is not loaded. Reading the docs for Voyager, I can't find where that is
explained on what is going on, suffice to say, if VOyager is not loaded (or
is loaded and no file has been loaded) and I double click on the file, it
is loaded the first time, and not on subsequent attempts.
9) I can't drag select text from HTML pages and paste them in other App's.
This does work with IBrowse and other MUI programs. I don't think that I
have messed up the preferences for Voyager that much.
I have just looked in my Voyager drawer to check, it doesn't really cover
what I am mentioning; or I am THAT far behind in reading all the readme's.

Could someone tell me if any of these are supposed to be non-working in this
version.
I get the updates and let them go and do their own thing, so I hope that is
not a problem, though I have seen that it is replacing newer libraries with
older ones because I am getting (for instance) other Netconnect programs,
or MUI programs and they have later versions than the one supplied with the
progoram. Ok, it happens. I try to keep them all at the latest when I
can manage it.
On a good note, I do see Ollie has fixed the problem of which I was
complaining with image placing on a page. Thanks Ollie.
Please! Don't say re-install Voyager / MUI.
That methodology, I thought, was for Microsoft programs and people who don't
know anything about computers. Please don't tell me we have gone down that
track too.
