Hi, The following patch serie adds a sis190 driver to the kernel again.
Without an in-kernel driver, Google reveals that the sis190 experience is anything but funny since it is based on a rather obsolescent and unefficient driver. Thanks to a few people who have helped out testing during the last weeks, a minimal driver has been reworked which seems stable enough. On the dark side, there is no real documentation and the link management in the non-autonegotiated case needs more work. Interestingly enough, SiS published today a sis190/sis191 driver (Rev 1.00.00 <2004/12/20> :o) ). A quick sight suggests that it should at the very least document a few points wrt link management and register use. Since the driver is useable in its current shape, I see no reason to delay publishing any longer. Inclusion in any wide-audience tree would be welcome. Please review and comment. -- Ueimor - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe netdev" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
