Hi Tobias, just on the off chance you do have double quotation in your

Hello,

I'm to NetDisco and installed version 3.0 just last week. This is an
awesome tool.

At our school district, we have many internal customers using our network
(security, building and grounds, telecom, etc). Many of our customer's
devices send CDP messages. Since do not have snmp access to these devices,
I've omitted them using "discover_no_type" stanza in the deployment.yml
config file.

Below is sample output from one of our switches which connects to a camera
from the security team. I can only search and track this in NetDisco using
the device's IP address or MAC address.

Is it possible to track these nodes by CDP Device ID and CDP Platform?

(I'm guessing that at the device level, the CDP Device ID is the same as
sysName and the platform is recorded via sysDescr.)

Regards,
Dan

Jobs are now running again.

I confirm normal operation with 2.029004 as well.

Strangely, with 2.029003 a lot of nodes had disappeared from the device ports!

Thanks,
Nick

Yes, (as mentioned in the Release Notes) this was a one-off purge of incorrectly recorded data in the database.

However if you think anything is missing which should be there, please do let us know.

regards,
oliver.
