I spoke too soon about everything working correctly. I was still getting the
duplicate key error when doing Discover via the GUI. The CLI was fine. I
tried 3.20, but the GUI still produced the error. Since I just installed this,
I deleted the netdisco database and ran deploy again. Doing Discover in the
GUI now doesn’t produce an error.

Thanks,
Joseph B.

Yes, that's a good thing to note; this is with SNMPv3

Hello,

I found that when the switch firmware is upgraded to the latest, the devices are recognized correctly by ND2.

All the best,

Hi Oliver,

I attempted an upgrade using the instructions here

the correct upgrade method?

Yes but it'll only upgrade Netdisco, not the dependent libraries. The commands to run are:

~netdisco/bin/localenv cpanm --notest SNMP::Info
~netdisco/bin/netdisco-daemon restart

oliver.

As Eric said in another thread:

The error below is caused by a SNMP::Info bug introduced in
version
3.22.

A fix has been pushed to the SNMP::Info git repo and a 3.23
version
will
be released shortly.  If you need an immediate fix downgrade
SNMP::Info
to 3.20.

This is most likely only evident in ND2 not ND1 due to
differences in
the database update routines.

oliver.
