--- Begin Message ---
I have noticed that mib files from h3c were quiet old and I have updated
the h3c mib directory with mib files from http://goo.gl/dTkrwA.
No change. Is there something to do when we upgrade mib file directories
other than restart netdisco-daemon ?
Could we update the h3c mibs files that netdisco-deploy script get ? or
perhaps I can do that, but I don't know how to do.

I guess you also have to let the daemon run a discover job on the
device. You can trigger an immediate discover via the device details
page if you're an Admin user.

Hi all,
First of all, big thanks to Oliver for this wonderful tool !
I have some HP/H3C switches that are partially recognize by
netdisco2, last version updated today.
So what can I do to have more complete informations for those
switches ? Do you need some debugging stuff ?
Thanks !

The product is in at least the hh3c-product-id.mib with this version:
-- Description: H3C Product OID MIB
-- Reference: HH3C-OID-MIB
-- Version: V1.56
from MIBs_V8.zip which you can get from the HP product site, eg:
https://h10145.www1.hp.com/downloads/SoftwareReleases.aspx?ProductNumber=JG934A
To test, I just manually added the appropriate line to my copy.
In your case, you would want to add:
hp513048GPoEPlus4SFPPlus370WEI OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { hpSwitch 189 }
or just replace the whole MIB file of course.
That should show the (ugly) model string once the device is re-discovered.
Fixing the PoE info will probably require more work maybe using a vendor
MIB and modifications to the H3C.pm class.

Hi All,
I have some trouble with a netdisco2 installation and some newer avaya
devices (VSP4000, VSP7000 and VSP7000). Netdisco2 did not recognize the
uplink ports. There are lots of MAC addresses instead of the connected
device. Maybe it would help to add new MIBs. Is there an easy way to do
that?
While speaking of MIBs: We have a lot of Hirschmann switchwes (Belden
Group) in our network that are recognized as a switch but not displayed
correctly i.e. in the inventory list. That would be more MIBs I would like
to add.
