I have a new install of ND2 I'm working with. So far working great in
the IPv4 space. -MUCH- thanks for all the awesome development work on
this project.

I've got a growing IPv6 space that I've got to contend with so am
curious if/when there are plans on extending NetDisco to operate in
the v6 realm as well.

Cheers,
- -Chris

We have an IPv6 network, and Netdisco works at giving us IPv6 info. What's not
working for you?

Thank,
Joseph B.

I have a few questions... Please let me know if I need to break them up
separately.

1. Where/How do I set Port controls to always be selected. We have no
users that do not have this option and it is always an extra step to enable
this for port bouncing.

2. How do I select a default reason? 90% of the changes is port bouncing
to reboot our Cisco Phones. I have added it in deployment.yml, however, I would
like to make this the default reason.

3. We have a "Phone status" application that sends a URL in the following
format
"http://X.X.X.X/search?tab=node&q=XXXXXXXXXXXX&stamps=on&daterange=&mac_format=IEEE";
. How can I change this so that the URL has port control enabled? This would
save us another step.

I realize this might sound pickey, and if we did this once every now and again,
I would agree. But sometimes we reboot switches and we may have 12+ phones that
do not come up. Those saving steps above can save time for us.

Thank you all again for a great application and supportive community!

Hi,

I'm trying to use ldap authentication for my netdisco2 deployment but it's
not working.

This is the config I put in deployment.yml that I'm using:

I added the debug option to try to troubleshoot it but I don't know where
to look at, any ideas? Another thing, is there a way to set admin
privileges to only certain users?

Thanks,

'Real' LDAP or Windows AD?
We're using AD and our config is quite simple:

ldap:
  servers: [<ip first server>, <ip second server>, <ip third server>]
  user_string: '<AD-Domain>\%USER%'

[...]

We've added every allowed User in Netdisco under Admin/User Management
There You can selece 'LDAP Auth' and also the other privileges.

Hello,

I am using latest ND v2.032005.

I notice that when running the "IP Inventory" Report, *on one**subnet*, never-seen IP addresses won't get displayed, even if I check "List IP's Never Seen". See:

   http://iweb.noa.gr/files/ip-report-20150606.jpg

This happens always with the particular subnet, but it never happens with other subnets. The affected subnet is 195.251.202.0/25. (It also happens with 195.251.202.0/24, but it does not happen for example with 195.251.203.0/24 or 195.251.204.0/24.)

Am I doing something wrong, or should you please take a look at it?

Thanks in advance.

All the best,
Nick
