Good question! I have written the following wiki page to describe the
job queue management:

In answer to your question, Netdisco should automatically prioritise
jobs submitted through the web interface, and also those using SNMP SET.

Is there any way to see how many jobs are queued if the list is big?

No, this is not shown in the web interface (only latest 50 jobs in the
queue are shown, which might not be the running jobs as they are
randomly picked). Patches are welcome! And we have had requests for a
better web queue manager as well (more realtime, etc).
Although there is no queue estimation timing report, there is a report
showing the average previous poller performance (under the Admin menu in
the web), which might be helpful, and also another report in the same
menu to show the "slowest" devices (in terms of SNMP response and job
completion) in your network.
