Hi Guys,
(Netdisco Version 2.36.3)
I've noticed that the MAC address does not show up on Netdisco for my Ruckus
wireless access points. Ruckus AP's don't support CDP, but I do have LLDP
turned on.
This would be very handy to have, as I often need to track down the switch port
for a particular wireless access point.
If I check on the Cisco switch the AP is plugged into I can see the Mac
address, IP Address, and the LLDP info for the wireless Access point:
#sh ip arp | inc 10.2.136.52
Internet 10.2.136.52 0 d468.4d20.cb50 ARPA Vlan136
#sh mac address-table | inc cb50
136 d468.4d20.cb50 DYNAMIC Gi3/0/47
#sh lldp neighbors
Device ID Local Intf Hold-time Capability Port ID
CCC-R600-NBRecept Gi3/0/47 120 B,W d468.4d20.cb50
But for some reason , the Mac address will not show on Netdisco. It works fine
for all my Cisco switches.
