Interestingly enough, I recently adopted a new customer with the ultimate
hodge-podge of devices including MRV/ADVA, Ciena, Siklu, BTI/Juniper, and
others, all of which pop up as unknown devices when I threw netdisco
against them the other day.
It would indeed be nice to streamline and document a process of adding
these sorts of unknown devices. Reading your input on doing so wasn't
exactly clear Oliver - assume we're all some non-programming network
engineers, as um, we usually are. :)
All for learning to DIY with some clear instruction of what is exactly
necessary though!
Thanks!
