could you open a github issue for this? we have issue template that you can
fill out that will provide us with a good starting point to investigate this
problem.

Subject: [Netdisco] Ruckus/Brocade ICX switch showing incorrect Vlan Membership
Hello,
I’ve been trying to figure out what is going on with some Ruckus/Brocade ICX
switches (7000 series family) that seem to just report Vlan membership in a
nonsensical way. I have some ports setup with an untagged vlan and the rest
tagged (vm host systems), but most ports are just a single untagged vlan.
Netdisco currently is reporting no vlan memberships for the vm host, and on 6
of the simple untagged ports its reporting other tagged vlans. I’ve tried
changing the setup on a port to see what would happen, and while the untagged
vlan changes to reflect config changes, the membership side doesn’t seem to
matter, even if I add some tagged vlans or remove them, the membership side
just shows seemingly random vlans.
I spent some time with the icx mibs to try and figure out what is going on, but
I can’t seem to find where netdisco’s discovery is gathering its vlan
information from, Q-BRIDGE was the one lead I found but trying to manually sort
out its hex tables to port id’s was a bit maddening.
I went and looked at one of our larger ICX networks and found netdisco was
having trouble there too with very inaccurate vlan membership data, so its not
just my small lab network being strange.
Please let me know what I can provide to help figure this out or further my
troubleshooting.
Regards,
Jonathan
