Hi.
I tested to remove device and rediscover to solve any comunity/snmp version
caches.
Really it seems that this cisco switches has incompatibility on snmpv3 :-(
Thx.

I might recommend you check with a basic snmpwalk with both v2 and v3 that
you're even seeing the mibs being returned for that devices universally.
I say this as I am in the process of moving an org to snmpv3 strings on all
devices, and they have older MRV optiswitches that simply will not return
anything but basic system info via v3, where v2c gives everything including
ifmib and anything else missing in v3. They are unsupported currently, so I
can't yell at the vendor to fix it.
You really still cannot trust vendors *not* to screw up snmp support along the
way.

Subject: [Netdisco] SNMPv3 - macsuck error
Hi.
We switched from snmpv2 to v3 and now Netdisco is not abble to fetch list of
connected devices on switch port.
In debug, I can see access denied issue:
SNMP::Info::clear_cache() - Cache Cleared.
SNMP::Info::_load_attr qb_fw_port : Q-BRIDGE-MIB::dot1qTpFdbPort :
.1.3.6.1.2.1.17.7.1.2.2.1.2
SNMP::Info::_load_attr: BULKWALK authorizationError (access denied to that
object) at
/home/netdisco/perl5/lib/perl5/App/Netdisco/Worker/Plugin/Macsuck/Nodes.pm line
275.
SNMP::Info::_load_attr orig_fw_mac : BRIDGE-MIB::dot1dTpFdbAddress :
.1.3.6.1.2.1.17.4.3.1.1
SNMP::Info::_load_attr: BULKWALK authorizationError (access denied to that
object) at
/home/netdisco/perl5/lib/perl5/App/Netdisco/Worker/Plugin/Macsuck/Nodes.pm line
275.
The only connected devices fetched from device are uplink ports.
The BRIDGE-MIB belongs to MIB2 group on switch snmpv3 config. Even this
macksuck can not access these tables.
How to solve this ?
eL.
