I upgraded the host OS for my netdisco server and now netdisco-daemon
and netdisco-web seg-fault.
I was going to follow the installation procedure; but I was wondering if
there is a quick way to recompile the binaries?
Thanks.

hm, netdisco doesn't have binaries per-se, but certain perl modules do use
system libraries.
the easiest way to do this is to:
* stop netdisco-backend & web
* remove the complete perl5 library:
-> https://metacpan.org/pod/App::Netdisco#Upgrading-from-2.x
->> "Furthermore, whenever you upgrade your Operating System, you must
delete the ~/perl5 directory and re-run the following command, to update
Netdisco's C library bindings:"
-> as netdisco user do "rm -rf ~/perl5"
* then follow: https://metacpan.org/pod/App::Netdisco#Upgrading-from-2.x
make sure you have a backup!

[sigh]
Perfect solution. If only I actually read the fine manual.
Thank you.
