I think even if the mibs are updated, snmp info probably needs some tweaking
also

Hi Neil
Take a look at the procedure here:
https://github.com/netdisco/netdisco-mibs/wiki/Updating-MIBs
And feel free to open a pull request on Github or ask questions on IRC
oliver.

What's involved in updating the Aruba MIBs?
The MIBs included in NetDisco are for ArubaOS 8.5.0.2_71711. The latest is
8.7.1.0.
Thanks!

Hi All,
Also it seems the arpnip and macsuck doesn’t seem to work.. so if you connect
downstream switches it cant match the data to the ports mac/ip..
Whats the chance of having a fix for the descriptions and arpnip/mac data
sucking to work.. we are putting lot of these out there and bit hard without
having the data available.
Thanks

Sounds like the age-old challenge of picking from ifDescr, ifName and ifAlias
and different platforms using them differently
An update to SNMP::Info might be required

I did give.
Basically the descriptions on the physical interfaces netdisco is not getting
that information.
It is just obtaining thr default interface name like ge0/0/0
It clasifies the controllers correctly and captures info about them so that
part works fine.

This: https://github.com/netdisco/netdisco-mibs/blob/master/aruba/aruba.my
mentions 7220 and 7030, so they are probably supported. You don't give us much
else to go on.

Hi, I have various aruba controllers such as 7220 and 7030, netdisco picks them
up, however its not grabbing the descriptions of the interfaces and putting
them in, or connected devices. Interfaces just stay default GE0/0/0, GE0/0/1,
etc
Do these work yet or some slight adjustments to SNMP info need to be made?
Thanks
