Hi, got another interesting one with H3C/HP switch 5130 stacked with 8 switches

Getting discovery error, failed to return valid serial, maybe its confused as
it’s a stack of 8 switches?

info discover: [10.x.x.x] started at Mon Sep 27 15:13:25 2021

debug discover: running with timeout 600s

debug => running workers for phase: check

debug -> run worker check/_base_/0

Discover is able to run.

debug => running workers for phase: early

-> run worker early/properties/100

[debug snmp reader cache warm: [10.x.x.x]

debug [10.x.x.x:161] try_connect with ver: 2, class: SNMP::Info::Layer3::H3C,
comm: <hidden>

[debug discover cancelled: 10.x.x.x failed to return valid serial

Hi

The difficulty here is a developer reproducing it.

Is anyone willing and able to share a snapshot of their database? This
would be a good start (and results either way after that would be
informative).

As with each time I’ve done this before, of course data is purged
afterwards.

Feel free to email me direct or message direct on IRC.

Thanks
Oliver.
