Hello,
I just installed a pair of Palo Alto 1410s, replacing a pair of 850s.
Their IPs are 192.168.42.220 and .50
The 850s configs were copied to the 1410s without issue.
The problem I'm facing is that only .50 appears in ND. I can walk both FWs just
fine, but .220 does not show up.
What am I overlooking here?

Hi Damian
It might be the way the devices report their IP addresses - if Netdisco
detects they have the same IPs (or IP aliases) then it might assume they
are the same device. Maybe for firewall failover you have this situation?
Others on the mail list might have strategies for working around it.
You can test it by running discover at the command line, and Netdisco will
return an error like "discover cancelled: 192.168.42.220 already known as
192.168.42.50".
~netdisco/bin/netdisco-do discover -d x.x.x.x (optionally -D as well)

I ran ~netdisco/bin/netdisco-do discover -d 192.168.42.220, and sure enough,
pr-fw173-a01 appeared.
I'll be sure to keep this command handy.
