Greetings,

What, if any, complications will I encounter to alter the
lib/Netdot/Model/PhysAddr->format_address subroutine?

That is, our unit generally uses (and prefers) lowercase
colon-separated bytes format of MAC addresses. Is this something that
can be trivially done, or do I need to go source diving to find out
what the gotchas are?

Thanks for the hints!

Hi Matt,

It?s hard to say without actually digging into the code. In any case, you would
want to make it a configurable thing. Some people (like me) dislike the colons
;-)
