Hello

I have two Cisco 3750 in a stack. While only one serial number shows up in the
"Basic" Device view, both are displayed under "Modules" view., both have a
class ov chassis. I can even assign Inventory numbers to each individually.

If this is not the same in your case, check how is the ENTITY-MIB implemented
on your devices. This is where the asset info comes from.

Kind regards

I've same problem on my Foundry devices:
- ENTITY-MIB is not implemented:
snmpwalk on OID entPhysicalEntry (.1.3.6.1.2.1.47.1.1.1.1) return nothing

In my situation, such serial number can be found on OID
snAgentConfigModuleSerialNumber (.1.3.6.1.4.1.1991.1.1.2.8.1.1.6),
but, it will take me some time how to do it cleanly on netdot.

Regards,

Vincent

Hi,

I don't have a modules tab for these particular devices, but I found it
for my Catalyst chassis and think that it might be a great improvement
for the Brocade ICX stack as well.
Unfortunately I don't see anything like ENTITY-MIB in the device mibs
provided by the vendor.

Is it save to provide those mibs to you or are there any copyright
restrictions?

Regards,
Markus
