How did you try to install it? If you follow the installation process it
should point you to the process to follow. There are some packages that are
a pre-requisite. You want to make sure those are already installed. Again,
the manual helps you with that. After that, it should go something like:
make testdeps
make installdeps-apt-get
make installdeps
and if for some reason you still have issues, go ahead and install the
missing modules from CPAN.
Take a look at ~/doc/manual/netdot-manual.txt it explains the whole process.
