We have recently adopted NetDot as the IPAM system for our IT department. When
we receive a request for a DNS entry we would like to record some meta
information along with the RR record such as who made the request, the reason
for the request, etc. We had planned on using the "Comments" attribute to
record such information but find ourselves desiring a more structured method.
Are there any plans to add a Contact link to RR records and/or the ability to
add Custom Attributes to RR records? -- patrick Patrick Landry University of
