You are right that the last_seen field was not being updated when the
blocks were seen by routers being polled.
I have committed changes to fix that, which will be available in the
next release.
I am hesitant right now to add the option in prune_db.pl, due to the
potential damage that this could cause if people are not careful.
That said, it should be easy for anyone to write a few lines of code
that would achieve that if they want to.

I just updated Interface.pm in my 1.0.4 installation to the current
version in the repository where I discovered the changes you made.
Unfortunately last_seen of already existing subnets isn't updated when
updatedevices.pl runs. Anything I'am missing?
