I've run into a bit of a snag installing Netdot on REL6 and would really
appreciate any assistance. I noticed someone else had the exact same issue,
although the fixes don't seem to work for me. The permissions seem good to
me for apache user in netdot directory.

at /usr/share/perl5/HTML/Mason/Compiler/ToObject.pm line 107
After manually creating directory 991023240
Couldn't create object file
/usr/local/netdot/htdocs/masondata/obj/991023240/login.html.obj: Permission
denied
I tried touch'd this file and get the same error.

Hi Chip,
Apache normally runs as user ?apache? in RHEL systems. Is that what the
directory permissions are set to? Can you send the output of ls -l of
/usr/local/netdot/htdocs/ ?

yes all the permissions are set to the apache user. In the previous message
I included several ls -al commands for the netdot directory. Let me know
if you need anything else and thanks for assisting!
