Hi,
in order to get the exported dns zones onto the nameserver, I'm
thinking about setting up a copy of netdot on the master nameserver
that uses the same database the regular instance is using and is used
for exporting zones only, as I would prefer this to copying the zone
files over the network. Is this supposed to work? Does netdot generate
files in other locations than var/ and tmp/sessions that I should be
aware of?
Best regards,
Karsten

Hi Karsten,
That wouldn?t be my choice (I?d rather move the zone files, either using scp,
or making the Netdot machine a stealth master, or using Git, etc). But it
should work.
