I understand that in IPv6, the actual 'netmask' given to a particular
client is supposed to be fixed at some value. But we often refer to CIDR
blocks of IPv6 addresses of varying sizes, so we need to show a 'prefix'.
But if you mean showing a prefix instead of the long 'netmask', then I
agree.
I prefer lowercase because it is easier to type.

Yes, that's what I meant. Show "/56", don't show "ffff:ffff:ffff:ff00::"
