I took a look at Dreamweaver after hearing good things about it.

It does not seem to wreck existing work like all other editors do.
This is essential for any number of reasons including building your pages in
components using features the tool does not understand etc.

I think the every field in a table problem is a user issue, not just a tool
one, as I did not suffer this fate.

However Dreamweaver did not seem to enhance my productivity.

So I went back to pfe32, which is a notepad with auto-indent.

        Hi Vishal,

I believe back in the ND3 days many NDers were using HotMetalPro.
Then in ND4,
DreamWeaver seemed to be mentioned more.

        Me, I'm still a NotePad'er!

I recently had to work with some one's ND HTML templates who was
using
Dreamweaver. I couldn't believe what the HTML looked like for a
simple freeform
page layout. Practically every field was in its own <TABLE>. From
what I
gathered, that's the way Dreamweaver did the flied alignment. But
maybe the
developer didn't know how to use Dreamweaver the best way.

Any comment from the Dreamweaverers out there?!

        Thanks,
        Janet

        Hi Forum Pals,

I wanna know what tool most of you guys use to customize your
html pages that generates pages looking alike in both Netscape
and IE. Also, do you guys use the ND provided 'Regenerate Html'
button, I am scared of that purple barney to the extent that I
have removed it from my tool bar 'cause it wipes off all the
        custom html code.

I am quite disappointed using FrontPage as the pages look
        different in Netscape.

        Any suggestions will be appreciated.

        Vishal
