Hi, ND4.1.3, Solaris2.6, Netscape server 3.5.1. This is a weird one, but I thought I would ask. Has anyone ever taken a clone of a Solaris machine with an appserver and a web server, and laid it down on a new machine, and got it working? We want to do this as a way to implement a disaster recovery plan. Some of my complications: The production setup is now 2 machines, one configuration, with swapped IOR files to keep it all happy. One of the machines has the Netscape Server on it. It is that machine which is cloned. The first time I tried this, it whacked out our production server. I presume because it has the names of the existing machines in it's partition, as well as the same osagent port. Any suggestion about what needs to be changed? Where is the osagent port and machine specific stuff put? Here's the kicker, I'd like to be able to do this, with using the GUI interface. I can't be certain that X is available at the disaster recovery site. If it's impossible without it, then I can make it a mandatory requirement, but if I can get away without it, then I will. Any thoughts here, or should I try an ND tech support person? This might actually be more of a consulting thing. > John Hoskins > TDS Computing Services > Internet Technology Team > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > 608.664.8263 > 608.664.8288 (fax) _________________________________________________________________________ For help in using, subscribing, and unsubscribing to the discussion forums, please go to: http://www.netdynamics.com/support/visitdevfor.html For dire need help, email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
