I have a problem with maintaining session information ?
Option one : I have a search page on Departments (pgDepSrch), (QBE) ,
which returns pgDeptlist . On clicking on a particular
Dept no(href) on this pgDeptlist, I bring out the department information
and employee information in pgDepemp.
I am mapping dataobject fields on PgDeptlist to PgDemp ? Is it better to
map between dataobjects to dataobjects on next page
or between data objects and page object ?
Option 2: Now I have another page which just lists Departments.An href link
on this takes me to the PgDepemp.
I go through option one select a department and view details onPgDepemp.
Then I go through option 2 and select another
department and go to PgDepemp.
PgDepemp brings the same results as I did when I used the first option,
although I selected another department number. How do
I ensure that each search brings the right department number.
do I use user session or page session object. If I do that how do I handle
this ? Or do I clear criteria every time I call a dataobject.
