Hi.
when i try to retreive accentuated text from a oracle 7.3.3 Database
the accent are striped.
i contacted Oracle's support for configuring the french language
character support in Oracle/Sun/solaris.
they told me to set these values on .kshrc :
export TERM=VT220
export NLS_LANG=AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8ISO8859P1
stty cs8
and it does work on the telnet Console . but if i insert these commands
in the
ND startup login script nd.cshrc i get the following message on the
browser's screen. :

the upper message is in french because i tested with the FRENCH_FRANCE
code language but it still refuses to connect to the db.
Is it possible that ND must be configured for french support ?
what are the settings that must be made in the netdyn environment to
accept these characters set ?
Our server is a Sun-Solaris(sparc) with ND 4.1.3.9)
