shortly, I posted a message that applet pages won't load in my production
environment. I keep getting a bunch of error messages in the java console
like this:
WARNING: Attempting to use HTTP Firewall Proxy Server
due to security restrictions:
org.omg.CORBA.INTERNAL[completed=MAYBE, reason=Can not find GateKeeper:
org.omg.CORBA.NO_IMPLEMENT[completed=MAYBE]]
com.ms.security.SecurityExceptionEx[Host]: cannot connect to
"test2.cybernet-ag.net"
etc.
I could not reproduce these messages in my testing environment until last
friday when I tested the project and, coincidentally, our firewall was down
for some time.
So I have the suspicion that either the server or the client tries to
connect do something outside our local network or so. The problem is that,
due to the security policy of my customer, this is not allowed.
So my question is: Does ND try to connect to something on the network
*.omg.org) and, if so, how can I avoid this? Is it possible to run this
project in the totally protected intranet of my customer?
