Actually the plugin server has increased the stability of the cell. The
older component (ndISAPI.dll) used to degrade faster and used to
peg one application server in the cell. We also used to see a pretty
bad see-saw effect.
The Cell works well here (4.1.3.8) Also, I was finally able to do custom
partitions.
Yes, I have ( and currently am ) load testing a custom written PAC with
a load testing software ( with pretty high load ).
The webservers have plenty of memory (1GB), enough (2) CPUs and so far
has not thrown up nor has the plugin server so far.
... but I would like to know what kind of applications (
database-intensive,
3rd party-component intensive, computation intensive etc ) you are running
for the process to degrade(leak etc.). Also I will take a closer look at
the
plugin components too and get back.
regards,
.mat

We are trying to use similiar configuration with pluginServer_41. We have a
lot difficulty to make it work,
the pluginServer is not vert stable, it crash every 10 to 20 mintue, and
significant memory leaking. Can you advise us
your sccessful configuration for your defaultpartittion, and what kind of
load testing you apply for the system.
Thanks in advance.
