We have version 6. But when we set it up we said 'No' to the version 6
format and chose instead the 5 format.
We have not had any problems with source safe since then.
Well if: 1) you don't rename pages that are in sourcesafe
2) don't move files around
3) folders can be dangerous (because of 1,2)
Basically once you check in an item... it name/location should be set in
stone.
