Hi Forumpals,

We noticed this on our production system that is under testing now. Unfortunately it's
not pesistence & I could not reproduced it yet.

PROBLEM: There is search page & a result page, using the exact same criteria and on
searching multiple times the search page returned 2 sets of results, e.g.,
results
returned 16 at one time and 9 at other time. Basically it was toggeling just
by refreshing
         the result page.

ANALYSIS: It's not an obvious session bleed problem like getting some body else's
result page. On refreshing the result page the no. of results changed and some new
results showed up.
Upon clicking on the returned result we can see the details of it, interestingly I
found on one of those new result that showed up on refreshing the result
page-- it
had no detailed data, all the fields were empty. Based on all this I doubt on
2 things-

1. It is possible that during testing more than one person logged on as same user
and were trying to do the same thing and some how, some where, some thing is
leaking
(too many somes there, that's the problem). I am NOT using any instance var
that
         could cause this mix.
2. It may be related to our back end where an importer (written in C++) is constanly
entering new and updating existing orders into the DB. Could it be a row
locking
or concurrency problem, our DB is Oracle 8.0? But then why would it toggle
between
2 sets of results on refreshing the resutlt page? Cache...?

Production system being on the remote site I have not yet had a chance to look at
the NDlog file with details, I plan to do it next. The purpose of this post
is- If
any one of U had a similar problem or remember a past thread from the forum,
please
pass some info about it to me, it will greatly help me norrowing my scope of
investigation.

Thanks I A

Vishal
