Hi
Thanx for your help
I have one more question
I have the declaration
public class LionPage extends spider.visual.CSpPage implements LionInterface
as my declaration for LionPage.
LionInterface is a java file that just contains static variables for my
project
Right now LionInterface variables don't seem to be getting populated in my
project.
Do u have any suggestions?
Thanx
Have included some files for u.
Lion.java is the java file for my project
LionInterface is the interface file
LionPage.java is the java file that is the superclass for all my pages..

The requirements for your superclass to work are no different in ND4 than
in ND3:
1. The LionPage.class must be in your project directory (actually it can
be anywhere in your classpath)
2. LionPage must extend spider.visual.CSpPage
3. Your application page .java files class declarations must extend
LionPage instead of spider.visual.CSpPage

Some convenience features have been introduced as of ND4. These are
strictly optional:

1. You can change the 'superclass' property of a page from
spider.visual.CSpPage to LionPage, and the page's .java file will be
changed accordingly.

2. You can create a user module for LionPage.java. This includes
LionPage.java in the project as follows:
        a. LionPage.sum is created containing a unique ID.
        b. a sid file is created in the links subdirectory, same as for
pages,
dataobjects, etc.
        c. An icon is created under the project icon, and when you
double-click
it LionPage.java is opened in the text editor. You can compile it by
clicking on the coffee cup icon (or menu commands).
        d. When you click 'compile all' , 'compile changed', etc.,
LionPage.java
is included or not based on the same state criteria applied to other .java
files in your application.
