The session object doesn't disappear. Like any other hidden field, it lives
on HTML and is sent back to the server when the user hits any button (or ND
Href) on the page. The server then de-serializes the object in its original
state, no matter whether it was changed or even destroyed before!
Pretty confusing, if you forget that HTTP is stateless!
You were right in your previous mail, if you want to keep track of the state
use User session objects.
Page session objects are usefull if you want to implement 'Next/Previous'
types of events, that is to change the page state as opposed to the user
state.

Not if you return to page A by hitting the browser's back button. In this
case your original object will be de-serialized from the HTML.

It will still be there provided any other user has not navigated to page A
and overwritten it. It that case you will loose the value set by yourself,
but instead get the value set by the second person.

Subject: [ND] PageSessionObjects in ND4
I would like some clarification on the implementation of Page Session
Objects in NetDynamics 4.x
If I put a Page Session Object in say page A.
Then I go to page B and page C and so on.. and then I return
to Page A, will the Page Session Object I originally placed there still be
there? Thanks for any help you can offer.
Johnny
